Your theme is the same as mine: “Stuff Fiance and I like” and I don’t think there is anything wrong with that.

holy wow your venue is cool!!  I agree, there’s nothing wrong with just having stuff that you like, there doesn’t need to be a theme.  Granted if you had giant pink heart streamers coming down from the ceiling I don’t know if they’d match the rest of the venue’s decor, but from what you’ve described so far, I don’t think anything will really clash.

@RoundSolitaire:  Same here 🙂 I could like… apply a “theme” to the stuff we like, but I definetly didn’t think of picking a theme before I picked everything else.

no you don’t have to have a theme, some people just find it easier to plan a party, with a theme as it helps to decide on decor etc.

I love that venue!  So cool and unique!  I don’t think you need a theme, necessarily…but you should maybe have some kind of unifying element that pulls everything together, whether that be a color scheme, some kind of fabric or texture, a specific flower, or something else.

you can even pick a colour… and tie it all in that way…. colours and theme’s are different things.   the colour will make everything unified in itself.

We don’t have theme either, and not sure if we going to get one. Your venue is so cool you should just showcase it with simple decorations. I think what you desribes sounds great.

I like a lot your venue If you going to have mexican buffett why not add a few fun mexican decoration , but I’m not talking about sombreros , piñatas or maracas (lol) , there is a lot o beautiful mexican decoration but just change those “colorfull” decorations  to your favorite colors (purple and green) , and keep it classic  and fun without scream mexican wedding theme , just type in google :bodas mexicanas , boda tipica mexicana , decoracion de boda , boda con tema mexicano.

No! I don’t have a theme, I don’t even have colors. I have an awesome venue with a ton of character, much like yours, and I’m using cohesive touches in decor to make the environment vibe with what FH and I want our party to be like 🙂

You absolutely do not need a theme. Nobody needs a theme, if you want one you can have one. I don’t think I’m having one, mostly just playing off my garden venue, picking things we like, and trusting that as a grown woman I can make it work together. You’ve got a beautiful venue, btw.

I really dont have a theme either, and I am constantly confused about what  to do  for decor and flowers and everything. Wedding are very overwhemling and 90%  of our fiances (like mine) are no help. But even when he trys to help I still get confused  smh.

Bottom line I dont think we need to have a direct theme just make everything look nice with some stuff matching each other.

Your venue is freakin Ah-mazing!!! And honestly, I don’t think you need a real theme. What you have sounds pretty awesome and personalized so far and sounds like it’s going to be so much fun!
