I need some hobbies. I’m already into cooking & baking, but I need some suggestions on taking up some type of activity which:
1. is crafty and I can potentially use my skills to make homemade gifts
2. has nothing to do with knitting or crocheting because I’m horrible at it
I’m basically looking for an active, crafty hobby which has tangible results.

I second jewelry making. If nothing else, it is super fun to play with the shiny, gorgeous beads! The only downside is it may cause you to be unable to buy commercial jewelry anymore, because you will always be thinking “I can totally make that for 1/3 of the price.” 🙂

Making wreaths? My mom would always start making wreaths in the fall throughout winter that were really pretty. Around Christmas we’d collect pine cones and she’d make them into a wreath and decorate it with evergreens and red berries, it made the house smell incredible.
This is the wreath that I want to make but it seems like a bit of a project.

I second scrapbooking. It is an ongoing project that can be used as a gift for friends and family but also made for yourself just for fun. There are so many options for scrapbooking!

Making jewelry is tons of fun! Or candles? I know people who make their own soaps & beauty products.
