My Fiance completely surprised me, not on Christmas but on his 30th birthday on 12-21-12! He asked me to make us some hot cider while he secretly hid the ring in a blanket on the couch next to his fireplace. When I sat down on the couch, I felt the hard box under the blanket, and he slid on the floor on his knee in front of me. I don’t really remember much of what he said because all I heard in my head “Oh my god! Oh my god! It’s really happening!!” while I was trying to open the box… And he asked me if I would be his wife and I shook my head and then I realized I actually needed to say yes! 
The funniest part was that when I posted the pics on Facebook, I got to brag about how we decided to start a new life together since the world wasn’t going to end after all! And who expects to get a present from someone when it’s THEIR birthday? Perfect surprise!

MemberMe! Me! I never thought he would do it on Christmas eve but it was wonderful because our whole families were home to celebrate and we always go to a party on Christmas eve with my parents’ neighbors and close friends.
I will have better photos soon because my brother had fun shooting it in the snow with his 5D but for the moment I will post this (iPhone pic, not sure why it’s sideways)
