Oh honey…not for a work party. Cute dress for the club though!

Personally I think that’s a little too sexy for a “work” holiday party.  Especially if other people are wearing suits and such.

Maybe try like Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana?  That’s where I’m planning on looking for my dress for hubs’ holiday party.

When you go to your SO’s workplace, you represent him. It seems like you are young and you still enjoy youthful clothing, which is generally okay. But at work, I’m sure that he does not want to give off that type of vibe. You should try to find something that is both youthful and conservative at the same time. Remember, too, that you will be there with other wives and professional women. Consider that wearing something like that dress may evoke unkind looks or comments.

I think that it might be a bit short for an office holiday party.  Have you measured to see where the actual dress would hit on you?

I think the length is OK if paired with leggings but the back is a def nooooo

I wouldn’t do it for a work or family party, but that’s just me. Did you check out white house/black market? They have great black dresses for parties. I bought one 2 years ago and it is still in perfect condition and look great at any kind of work/family party type event. If you love the dress that much, though, I think you could totally pull it off on a date night!

Definitely not a work related holiday party dress.  It’s so cute though.

The dress is gorgeous, but it just won’t cut it for a work event, in my opinion. Especially compared to what you said women have worn to past events. It’s too short, and the back is just not office-appropriate. Your FI’s co-workers should not able to be fully aware that you’re not wearing a bra. 😉

I know you want to wear something “you,” but unfortunately, this party isn’t about you. And I don’t mean that to sound harsh at all, it’s just that at the company party, you’re representing your Fiance, and you want him to be taken seriously. 🙂

The short length and open back are a bit much. Try to find something a little more conservative.

A little short and a little low backed for a work party. Hose don’t make up for the entire open back, especially if other women are wearing suits, or knee length and below dresses.

Yeah, it looks like a club dress but you could find other excuses to wear it. Just not at work related events.

@TerraMarie11: Oh, you should totally still buy it. And wow your Fiance with it on your next date night!!!
