How did you guys get rid of the nerves?? My stomach has this constant “butterfies” feeling. I have my mani in an hour, so hopefully that will be somewhat relaxing.

Maybe some calming tea, and lots of water. When I tend to get nervous I forget to drink water and get shaky, which brings out my nerves even more.
Congrats and have fun. Laughing is a natural medicine too!

Think of other times you have had stress before in your life and it’s all turned out for the best— end of College exams ? The night when your Fiance proposed ? Meditate on those times and draw on the strength of knowing that you have faced many exciting and challenging times in your life before and succeeded.
Take a deep breath and let it out to the count of ten. Repeat until calm. Don’t chatter unnecessarily. Imagine you are holding your heart in your hands and you are talking quietly to it, reassuring it that all will be well today. When you are ready, take a deep breath and “fold” it back into your chest to keep it safe.

Me too! No idea how to get rid of the nerves, though. I’m having a tea and getting ready for mani/pedis and massages with my MOHs, which will probably help.

Yes, laughter is helping! Right now, I go between that kind of nervous extra energy to actually legit being nervous that everything goes well!
I literally just shoved a granola bar down my throat because I was like “hmm…I should probably eat!”

Me too! I’m taking Rhodiola, avoiding caffiene and possibly will keep a xanex close by should I need it. Also abdominal breathing, and distracting myself from getting to emotional by remembering this song
