In My Humble Opinion, she said so herself – you are in no way obligated to “entertain” him. If he shows up when she’s not home, then ask him to come back when she is. It’s not your problem to fix. I know that you want to, but she really needs to tell him herself, and I hope that she is respectful enough to understand that his staying in your guys’ apartment is awkward and inappropriate for you and all involved.

We haven’t even heard from him so at this point I feel like he’s not coming. I decided if he shows up I’m making him clean the house + rake leaves (shoulda been done a month ago haha)

That’s a funny topic 🙂 All I can say if I was in such situation, and I was, I would humiliate him as much as possible just to make him feel as shitty as never before. So he remembers all his life that he is nothing more than a piece of old crap

That guy is a real class act!
I don’t know why your roommate decided to let him stay at your place, but hopefully this will remind her that this guy is an idiot and that she can do so much better…
BUT if part of the reason of letting him stay over is because she still has feelings for the guy, her current boyfriend could also do much better, and she should do him a favor and let him move on.
