@vorpalette:  I cannot believe it’s practically June! OMG still have to do my invitations but they finally arrived! yay lol I bought my Jr Bridesmaids earrings and my earrings and had my bridal shower. I also made my alterations appointment (for June 5), had my final planning appointment at the venue where we chose linens, cake, and other details. I also had my hair and makeup trials in May and those are both booked. In June, I have my florist appointment, sending my invitations Monday or Tuesday, alterations appointment, finalizing the ceremony with our officiant, and that’s all I can think of at the moment.

Ok, got that off my chest. The wedding is in Scotland. All the guests have plane tickets. We don’t.

Invites are out, RSVP due date is tomorrow.

    Still need to

    – pick readings

    – pick who will do readings

-pick witnesses (will sign the license)

    – figure out who is doing speeches (I’m not having a MOH so have to ask someone)

    – break in my shoes

    – BM’s dresses have been ordered but aren’t in yet.

    – order the suits for groom and groomsmen

My shower is NEXT Saturday. How did that arrive so quickly???

This isn’t my board, I’m June.  But I was just telling FI yesterday that if we had gotten married in May we’d be married by now…and it’d all be over and done with 🙂

Oh man.  Oh man.  It’s really sneaking up on us here.

This last month we finalized our cake and paid for it, bought wedding rings, and figured out invitations and ordered them.  The invites are supposed to arrive tomorrow (June 1st!) which kinda kills my absolute last deadline for sending them out (today…) but OH WELL!  People know it’s coming from the save the dates, right?  But once we get them we’ll have to print addresses on the envelopes and get those suckers out the door.

My dress is supposed to come in the middle of the month, which is beyond exciting.

We’re having a planning meeting with the caterer in a couple weeks, FINALLY!!!

I’ve been spray painting napkin rings for ages now, with no end in sight, but hopefully I’ll be able to finish those this month.

And then there are all sorts of music decisions and paper products to deal with…  And my first of 3 showers is at the end of the month!!!  Hooray!

I seriously can’t believe we’ve only got 11 weeks left!

Edit: WHOA, almost forgot we’re going to start planning the ceremony and doing pre-marital counseling on Monday with our officiant, aka, my FFIL.  Crazzzzy.

We’re having a somewhat informal backyard-style wedding with cornhole and monkey nuts that we already have (those are lawn games with crazy ass names).  Thought this would be fun to add too 🙂
