I’m making my bouquet with my Granny’s old buttons. I’ll also be adding in a few lace fabric flowers to help fill it out. Here’s the in-progress shot (sans lace fabric flowers).

I’m also in the process of making my bridesmaids felt flower bouquets. These are also unfinished. I’m just holding a bunch of the finished flowers together to get a feel of how the final product will look.

I’m tying everything together (mix of felt and buttons as well as the various colors of the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses) in the boutonierres. Here are the ones for the best man and our ring bearers.

I had a strawberry bouquet with parsley and cilantro, it was summer and over 100 degrees, flowers would have wilted, but that might be too out there for some people lol. I did devour it after the ceremony because I was starving! Win, win.

I was going to do coffee filter flowers but decided other diy projects were more important.  This was a start of one tho.

Grah! Why would you bump this? Why would you inflict all these horrible exclamation points upon these boards again? Or the word Homade? It burns us!

@jujee:

Sorry, I couldn’t help it lol.

My bouquet was “homade” off of etsy, because I’m not nearly clever enough to make my own. But it was fabric flowers w/ pearl & crystal centers. My husband’s boutonniere was an awesome matching flower on an antique skeleton key “stem”.
