I’m attempting a Tres Leches cake for Valentine’s Day. I’ve never made one before and I have to substitute some ingredients because they’re not available where I live so we’ll see how that goes.

Mango cheesecake with sliced mangoes on top. This is not a photo of the one I made recently, but this is the first one I ever made.

blushingbee2019 :  You had me at cheesecake but I’m highly allergic to mangoes cry still I think I would chance it just for a piece of that because it looks absolutely delicious!

I had 4 weeks off during the winter and got hooked on to Great British Baking Show. My husband bought my a super cute Nordic ware mini houses pan, I baked 6 batches of cinnamon swirl coffee cake mini houses!! And I can’t believe I didntd save a single picture of them 😫

bakerbee09 :  That cake looks delicious! Mind sharing the recipe? I do far more cooking than baking, but my most recent experiment turned out well – “healthy” pumpkin muffins. I made them gluten free for my husband by using coconot flour and gluten free granola. They’re pretty tasty and filling. I take them to work for breakfast.

bakerbee09 :  that looks soooooooo goooooood. I am not a chocolate fan and that’s right up my alley. Unfortunately I’m Celiac and almost no grains are agreeing with me right now.

Our entire house is gluten free so I’m about to make gluten free banana chocolate chip muffins for my kids for school this week, and (non-GF) chocolate chip cookies for my husband to take to work tomorrow.

I cook and bake everything from scratch in our house. I made homemade peanut butter cups yesterday, but that doesn’t really qualify as baking.

Sassygrn :  I made brownies for Christmas gifts for my kids’ teachers. Talk about a big hit. There is nothing like a pan of scratch made brownies made with really good ingredients. And SO easy.

I made a chocolate orange cake (three layers of chocolate cake, orange Swiss meringue buttercream, a little chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream, and chocolate orange segments) for a colleague’s birthday:

My husband does the baking here lol. He just made a cake today. He usually makes cookies. I think he did pretty good for his first try.
