What about fixing him a nice dinner with candle light; maybe some cornish game hens with wild rice and a salad and his favorite dessert which could be brownies and/or you.

You could do a scrapbook! Can be kind of corny, but if he’s sentimental…

I made one for Darling Husband on our second dating anniversary. He still has it. I filled it with pictures and printed out love notes and emails with dates that we sent to one another.

We don’t really buy giftrs too often it’s almost always homemade. So our favorite is a coupon booket. The coupons can be for anything. I just gave a booklet to my honey for his bday and it was for foot rubs, back rubs, at home pedi, and some other things 😉 And they for anytime, no exclusions, even if we are in the middle of a fight if one of us pulls the coupon you have to honor it. We like them, they are a lot of fun. Cheesy but fun.

My Fiance and I were in a LDR for about 5 years throughout college. Every time we had to say goodbye we wrote little notes to each other for every day that we would be apart and we kept them in a little jar. The notes could be reasons why we loved each other, funny memories or really anything we could think of. Then we would each read one per night. You could easily take this idea and write a little note for each day of the year or something. You could also incorporate ‘coupons’ into the notes too, to give you some more ideas and t mix things up. Put the notes in a cute little jar and then for a whole year he will know every day how much you love him!

Hmm well if you’ve already done the scrapbook maybe you could make like a “Storybook of Us” (if you’re artistic), and draw out some favorite moments with cute captions. I like the coupon idea, too 🙂

I made my husband an “I Love You” Book. It was kinda like a scrapbook but had a different reason on each page of why i love him. I included stickers and pictures and other things that went along with each reason for that page. He loved it! I did a lot of funny things too like how he pushes his lips together for pictures instead of smiling and so on.

I did a version of a coupon book, it’s 52 cards each with something on it that I will do. I foldeded them and put them in a bowl and each Sunday he pulls one out and I do it that week.

Some are small like I’ll make the bed one day this week or I’ll do the rubbish one day this week, some a bigger like I’ll do all the driving this week (I hate driving so he knows how meaningful this is) or I’ll make a dinner & desert of your choice plus clean up and do the dishes.

He loved it!
