I definitely agree with a destination wedding so it’s neutral.  Think about how far your father will be able to go and take it from there.  His health is very important obviously, and I’m sure your Fiance and his family will understand that. 

How long can he stay in a plane?

Depends on where you will be moving to and living permanently. My Fiance is English, and I am American. We are having our wedding in the States for a number reason, and a main one is that we will be living in England after marrying. Americans get the wedding, the English get me living nearby!
