I am looking for recipes that are yummy, packed with good stuff to boost me up before or after a run or yoga.
I would ideally not have to refrigerate them for a few hours if they are going in my gym bag

This is a simple recipe that I make a lot! They’re kind of like a Larabar, and you could probably make them more elaborate by using different dried fruits instead of raisins.
- 3/4 cup walnuts, cashews or pecans (I’ve used almonds sometimes too)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup raisins or dates
Process all ingredients in a food processor until fine and sticky. Shape into balls and enjoy!
If you can’t get the mixture to hold together, add a few more raisins and a tablespoon of water. Add some peanut butter or other nut butter for extra yumminess.
