One year we bought all of the stuff to make our costumes. We was going to be Mr. & Mrs. Halloween! ๐Ÿ™‚ For me I was going to wear orange & black stockings, a black skirt & a orange halloween shirt. I was going to wear pumpkin or skull earrings (had both) spider webs in my hair which I was going to tease really big & put spiders in it & heels that had skulls on them. Then paint a pumpkin on my cheek. My husband had a orange halloween shirt & a pumpkin mask. But it rained really, really bad so we just wore our shirts & went out to eat.

Last year we was outlaws on the run. ๐Ÿ˜›

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: Fiance and I are going to have similar costumes this year! But instead of me also being a convict, I am going to be a corrections officer. And I won’t have to spend too much since my dad is a CO in real life, and said I could borrow his billy club!

I was a ladybug one year.  That was easy.  Just get the wings and antennae on a headband, then wear a black shirt, skirt, tights.  It was very cute!

One year I went as mother nature…I got brown leggings and green tshirt off of the clearance racks at Target and then headed over to Michael’s for flowers, leaves, birds, twigs and butterflies….needless to say after 30 minutes of hot gluing all these all over my clothes…minus the butterflies…those went on my head w/ a headband…the birds on my shoulder in a nest…..I was the prize winner of the party…loved it and it was fun to make and wear…wish I would have gotten some pics….

Darling Husband and I have been dying to do a bunch of Tim Burton themed ones but haven’t had the time yet. And my sewing machine is broken ๐Ÿ™ Darling Husband is getting me a new one for Christmas, so no homemade costumes for me this Hallowe’en.

I wore this one last year (Midna from Zelda: Twilight Princess, yup I’m a huge geek), and it’s my favorite one that I’ve made.
