i love the top and you have a wonderful figuire for a mermaid gown. Although ive never been a fan of how some of them where the tull starts, its really harsh. It kind of cuts the body up. but otherwise i love mermaid gowns ^-^ im making one myself lol

I think the bodice is beautiful and the skirt is beautiful, but I’m not sure if they go together. The top material looks darker/more ivory than the bottom material, but it might just be the lighting. I’m guessing the dress is clipped, but the shape is already stunning on you.

I don’t like this unless there’s a belt or sash, and maybe something to help transition to the mermaid tulle at the bottom.

you have a gorgeous bod!

but i will say that i personally am not a fan of mermaid gowns  so i don’t like it.

you look fantastic, i’m just more of a gowny type person (ball gown, even the ones that go straight down from under the boob and just fall)

I think it looks nice.  You have an awesome shape.  I just dont like where it starts to flare.  It doesn;t flow so to me you look shorter.

It’s not my favourite style of dress, I don’t really like the shape of it, but that’s why I’m not getting a dress like that. I think you look fantastic in it, though, and as I’m sure you know, how you feel in it and your opinion is what matters most!

Have you tried something similar to that dress, but more of a mermaid, with lace all the way down? I ask because it’s the tulle bottom in particular that I’m not a fan of. Otherwise, though, like I said, you look awesome!

It’s definitely not my style, the top and bottom of the dress look a bit mismatched. But if it’s your style, rock it! 🙂

I love the silhouette but not this dress. The bottom is too harsh with the split.

Its beautiful but it is very modern and may look out dated in 10 or 20 years from now. Just a thought. I personally dont like the pouf at the bottom but the top is flattering. What really matters is how you feel in it. Dont let me discourage you if you really love the dress and good luck!!

I think the style of gown looks amazing on you, but I don’t like the gown. I agree that something doesn’t seem right, and its not you, it is the transition of the tulle and a lot of appliques for no good reason. I think you look amazing in the mermaid and hope you get one 🙂

You are SO close!!!

Not really liking the bottom half of the dress…the waist drops down to low for my taste.  I think A-line or ballgown would look fabulous on you!
