I’ll second (or quadruple) the spanx idea.  I don’t really think you need it, as you have a very smooth shape, but it’ll make you feel better and feel prettier and that’s really what counts.  My sister is very curvy and swears by her spanx, and let me tell ya…she looks good! 😉   If it’s any consolation, my sister in law has a similarly shaped dress, weighs less than 100 pounds, and she has a tummy curve too.  As my other <100lbs model-esque friend said (and both are perfectly healthy btw), a stomach is one of a woman’s curves, and is part of having a developed figure.  If she says it, I believe it haha!

Also, personally I think that dress is a great choice if you’re worried about your belly area.  With the appliques/lacey stuff on it, it keeps the eye moving around instead of focusing on any one area, which is always a plus.  You look lovely and happy 🙂

Splurge for good REAL corsetry. With the proper foundation garnments and alterations you will look even better than you already do. It’s a lovely dress.

It’s only an issue if that’s how you feel, I’ll probably be wearing a proper corset under mine, so spanx would hardly be an over the top measure 😉

Ps. – between control pants and a steel boned corset there’s also girdles (often with fancy ‘power mesh’) which can be quite comfortable and give you the confidence of a very smooth look. Get a few options, try them on under the dress and also under normal clothes, just going about your day, to see what you look and feel best in.
