Honestly, I do not care much for the ring and I can see why you are concerned

It takes a certain kind of taste. It’s not a solitaire, not a classic 3 stone either.

Do you know any of her preferences? If she likes rounded or more square stones? If she likes one or multiple stone things? If you do then it should be easier to know if she’d like it or not.

Edit- I wrote that before seeing your last post. If she said she liked vintage and round I wouldn’t get her this. This doesn’t say “vintage” that much to me, but then again I think of vintage as being more decorative. If she likes more rounded stones I’d stay away from stones with sharp edges (princess, marquis, emerald, etc)

What is her right hand ring like?

If your really not sure what she likes then I say go with a simple solitaire.. I personally don’t care for this ring at all . Kinda old lady looking no offense.. but if she likes the vintage look I say go for it !!

Sorry just seeing your reply that she likes vintage !

ja0508 :  usally jewlery stores use a lab that overgrades thier diamonds so they can over charge you for the stone, so people think they are getting a great price for a G SI2 but in reality its is a J I1 or worse, and so you are over paying for the diamond, so you really need to find out what lab graded the stone. Also Cut is the most important thing about a diamond but alot of stores don’t  mention that because they cut to maximize ct weight so the can charge more. Which can make a diamond appear smaller because its dark than one that yes would be a tiny bit smaller but look bigger because it sparkles like crazy. Also settings tend to be way more as well.

Do you remember the color or ct size?

ja0508 :  I’m neutral on this ring.  No strong love, no strong hate. I do like the side stones.  That’s a very sleek look (my style preference), but those sleek trillion stones are mismatched with the antique engraved feel of the rest of the ring, IMO.

Now with that said, are you having doubts just due to general nerves, or is it more because you don’t like the ring as much as you want to?

Oh yeah, I second the people saying to check out places like James Allen or blue Nile to see their “vintage collection”. I think she might much prefer a halo with a more decorative band over the one you have now. Good luck!

After a quick search things she might like (I’m on mobile so posting pics aren’t the best)-

Obviously there are rings more similar to hers but I’d personally like a ring that’s a bit different design then what I’m already used to. Maybe you should bring up her ring and ask her what she likes about it and what she might change if she had a choice.

I took the liberty of finding a diamond that triple Ex ideal cut it would score Amazing on the HCA, which basically means its in the top 1% of diamonds and is a firecracker! Though I could find one smaller or bigger tho for you depending on budget.

I added it to a setting that has a slight vintage feel but is still contemporary so it will go with any jewlery. It is a three stone like you picked but the side stones are smaller and enhance the center and make it look bigger.

    What do you think?
