Hi everyone,
I am brand new this forum – so hi π
I would like honest opinions on this dress please!!!
A bit of background. The ceremony will be in a chapel, the reception at a winery.
I really love the flowy ruffle look, but not the very over the top structured ruffles.
I personally think this dress has lovely ruffles and is flowy but not OTT. It is also lovely and fitted which suits my hourglass figure.
However, girlfriends have all said not to get a ruffled dress because it will date is not classic.
So i was hoping to get some honest opinions on this dress. If you like it, love it or hate it please post views!!I figure, you guys don’t know me so can be as honest as you like π
Thanks so much!!

Don’t spend one second of time worrying about a dress that will date.
ALL DRESSES WILL DATE (some more than others). Do you see many of us wearing the same styles as our mothers or grandmothers?
Pick a dress you love and wear it!

I agree with the ruffles being a trend that may fade out, but this dress doesn’t scream “ruffle dress” to me! I think it looks really beautiful and the ruffles are understated.
When I think of something that might date really quickly, I think of something way poofier and “rufflier”.

That is a beautiful dress and if you have the figure to pull it off, I am very jealous!
I agree with
@julies1949:, all styles go in and out of fashion. Pick a dress you’ll be happy in on your wedding day π

My mom’s wedding dress is VERY dated, but she still loves it and that’s what’s important! You want to pick something you feel beautiful in. This type of dress isn’t my personal style, but they are beautiful dresses and can look very pretty. I’m not sure if you tried it on yet, but try it on and see how you feel

I think it’s beautiful and creates a lovely shape…if you like it, go with it! The ruffles are done tastefully and don’t seem like the focal point

Very unique and curve hugging! It is to die for. I think it is feminine and doesn’t scream 80’s ruffles or anything outrageous π

I wanted to try that dress on but couldn’t find it near me. It was a top contender during my research phase. Instead I chose Madeline Gardner Blu 4861 which could end up looking dated too but I don’t care! I don’t think its going to matter what dress we buy because in 20 years we’re still going to look back on it and think, WTF was I thinking? That’s what vow renewals are for! If you love it, go for it!

I tried this one on and loved it! It is also very light compared to other dresses, which I loved. You will feel like you’re floating. Good luck on your shopping adventures.
