@meliss, that’s a very good point! i actually won’t need to hem the dress. plus, i don’t mind the flare at the bottom. it’s just that i want the dress to be more of a trumpet than a mermaid. (trumpet starts to flare out at mid-thigh, mermaid starts to flare at the knee). i remember your struggle about your first dress and i think i’m experiencing the exact same thing right now. UGH!

I think the lace dress looks amazing on you, but I also think the Maggie looks equally amazing on you.
Whether you pick the all lace or the Maggie depends more on your personality and the type of wedding you’re having (traditional vs. contemporary), because they look equally amazing on you.
So some details about your wedding would be helpful. 🙂

@Keoki, my ceremony will be at Wayfarers Chapel and the reception will be at the courtyard of an Ayres Hotel. the “feel” that i’m hoping to get is a small wedding (no more than 75 guests) with a vintage flare.
Note that the reception will be at the hotel’s courtyard, not in its ballroom.

you look phenomenal in both, but if you’re going for a vintage flare, definitely go with the lace. if you’re worried about the skirt, i would call the place you bought the dress at, share your worries with them, and see what they tell you. it might be possible with the 4 to alter it to flare higher up instead of lower, depending on the fabric and the stitching. also, i had major doubts about my dress because i wanted something with more pouf on the bottom, but adding a crinoline helped a TON – it made the dress.
whatever way you go, you’ll be gorgeous, but having suffered from doubts, too, i understand. good luck!

SO torn. The first 2 look amazing on you. Normally it would be the lace hands down, but the Maggie looks fantastic on you. Go with the one you love. Normally I don’t endorse expensive “mistakes,” but you should go with your gut. (The DB’s neckline leaves something to be desired IMO.) I see the difference in #1s skirts with diff. sizes (I KNEW you couldn’t be even a bridal size 10 or 12!), but it looks great in all 3.
