@JustJen_wd:  That’s a stunning dress. It’s definitely not an “older brides” dress. I’m 34 and while I really wanted an all lace dress like yours, I thought it made me look too young, lol. If you can’t get the dress off your mind I’d say go for it. If you’re having doubts about it though, go try a few more on that don’t have all the lace before the sale on the gown ends. I think if you try a few more on and keep thinking of this one, than that is your sign that this one is “the one”.:-)

I agree with most of the PPs. Love the dress, but lose the stuff on your head. Keep it really simple with your veil (no lace) and I’d forgo the flower headpiece too.

@JustJen_wd:  I agree with what the other bees have said about the veil being a bit much with the dress. The dress is already so detailed and beautiful you really don’t need a very fancy veil. I think a simplier veil like one of these would be more flattering.

It’s a beautiful dress, but I think the skirt’s too full.  To go with what others are saying, it might also be the veil and flowers are a little too much.  A plain, shorter veil will look great, however.  The bodice is lovely, but something about the waist and skirt aren’t selling me on it.

the dress is great but the headpiece and veil dont look great. If you wera that dress, it has so much going on, you have to keep your jewlry and headwear simple. good luck!

Oh my gosh, some people are really harsh on your look. I think its lovely and classic!! It’s beautiful and you should go with what’s in your heart! Not what’s in new fashion. Besides, ‘dated’ looks to some people just look classic in years to come. Its an overall pretty look and you should be proud!!!!

I really like the dress! If anything the veil might make it seem “older”, but if you like it.. go for it:)

Absoluteley gorgeous! I am looking at something very similar and I am newly 21, I definately don’tthink its an ‘older’ dress, i think it could work for any age with the right bride!

I really like that dress on you but I also think the veil is too overpowering. Maybe a raw edge veil that doesnt cover your shoulders? and without the flowers (or smaller flowers).

LOVE it!!! And I agree with other posters, it is the veil and headpiece that makes it look too mature for your age. Other than that, I think it is a beautiful dress!

I love the dress, and totally agree a simpler veil is all you need with no hairpiece. The dress is the focal point.

I like the dress itself but I think the veil and headpiece are somewhat aging you a little bit. I would try some simpler accessories and let the detail in the dress stand out more. I do think the dress itself is beautiful.

It’s way too much and isn’t doing you any favors. I’d find something more flattering.
