Hello bees, I recently lost 50 pounds π and have to get a new dress which I am actually really excited about. I decided to try some more slimming dresses and this is currently my favorite. Please let me know if you think its “the one” or have any opinions on other dress types I should try. Keep in mind I am wearing “something blue” shoes. Also, they have me smushed into a bra thats to small in this picture and I wouldnt be wearing a bra so hopefully the top wouldnt look so bulgy. Well, here it is:

something slimming on you would work but those ruffles are anything but slimming.

Woohoo, congratulations on the weight loss (you look fabulous)!
Though ruffle bottoms aren’t my preference, I actually like the dress on you. It looks very light and flowy, and I think it it slimming. I do think you would benefit from some type of crinoline to make the skirt a bit fuller (and highlight your slim torso).
BUT your posture is making you look awkward because it is eliminating your neck/clavicle area. You should try the dress on again, but this time shoulders back, chin up and no hunching/slouching! π

I think you look very pretty in this dress and if it is an honest contender for you get another picture in it with a propper fitting undergarment and a pair of heels! I think because of all the ruffles you either need to be on a stool or in shoes to show the dress off properly

Congrats about the weight loss but not a fan of the dress at all. I think something without the ruffles and more of a flowy look would look great.

Generally I like ruffles, and I think that dress looks good on you. π Ruffles are fun!
I know some people say that ruffles add bulk to one’s figure, but I think sometimes they can be very flattering even to women who aren’t losing weight the way you are. Here’s a post I made recently asking for full figured ladies to show me their ruffle dresses and I think there are many great examples of ruffley dresses that can be flattering on all sizes in there:

The ruffles don’t bother me and I actually kinda dig the slit. It’s very flamenco to me and the bodice is very slimming.
The part that I think may be “adding” is the ruffles/flowers on your left hip. If you’re looking to show off your new fantastic figure as much as possible, you won’t want anything there.

Congratulations on the weight loss!!!!
Good Job. Now about the dress I say yes to ruffle skirt but something more fluffy to accentuate your small torso!!! And honey Pilates on a daily basis to correct that posture!

Congrats on the weight loss! But the assymetrical skirt goes up too high so it doesnt show off your figure as much. I do love the slit though!!!
