It’s so hard to judge when you don’t have the right undergarments on! The bust on the right is not coming under your breast tissue, which is doing you no favors.

I think this would look great on you if properly fitted and worn with the proper bra. You may need to search for the right bra since your breasts are growing due to pg.

I think the shape of the dress is perfect for you. You look great…except the bust. It’s mostly the under part. If that can be brought down, and you get a bra that fits well, it’ll look great!

Also if you are not getting it hemmed, tack it up with a whip stitch and iron an edge so it looks cleaner at the hem.

Honestly I think as long as you love it, then that’s all that matters! You’re never going to be able to please everyone. If you ask for it, people will find faults with the dress and maybe they’re not all faults, but just differences in opinions! I feel like asking people for critical opinions is just going to make you doubt a dress you already love.

Maybe it’s hormones. And the body changes. Or feeling overwhelmed with final wedding planning. Take a few days away from looking at pictures of your dress or thinking about it, and then go back to it and look at it. You might feel differently then.

Also, are you asking for suggestions on how to alter the dress to be more flattering?  (Which I think is great!  I love julies1949’s suggestion!)  Or are you wondering if you should just get a new dress?

I think with a more flattering bra and a few alterations to adjust for your bump, it’ll be perfect.  I personally love that style!

Louise82:  I like it, but I don’t love it. I think maybe an emire wait dress that will be fitted toyour chest and allow for a growing baby bump would be better.

Louise82:  I think it looks good but maybe you should find something flowier if your wedding isn’t for a few weeks. (Give that baby some room!)

Louise82:  I think the dress is lovely, and once the bust/straps are altered you’ll look great in it! I also think you look smaller than size 18/20.

I don’t really like it but I feel bad because

1. You already bought it

2. Your wedding is soon

3. You say you went ABOVE your budget to even buy it

Just wear the dress and remember the reasons why YOU loved it to begin with.
