Hi beautiful bees! Long time lurker here; finally deciding to ask for help.
I’ve fallen completely, insanely head-over-heels in love with this Pnina Tornai gown that I never would have expected to love (I never saw myself in a lace wedding dress, ever!), and I so desperately want to go for it, but was just needing a second opinion on the sheerness and overall feel of this dress – as well as the unusual apprehension towards going for something that others would consider risky, because I’m not the type of person to get embarrassed, or care what people think of me and my fashion sense.
I’m just confused, stressed, and looking for some sisterly advice! Thanks for listening!
Here’s the dress (sorry if pic is huge!):

sorry, I am not a fan. Maybe with a lining underneath MAYBE I would like it. it seems like its more for the bedroom than a wedding

I’m not really sure what advice you are trying to seek since you said you don’t care what people think. It is a risque dress and looks more like lingerie than a wedding gown.
I don’t know who your guests are. If they are not conservative, then sure why not.
I don’t know if your guest list includes children or teenagers. If I saw a bride wearing that, I would probably judge them (as harsh as that sounds). And I definitely would be pissed if my child (< 18) is present b/c I do think it is an inappropriate outfit. I also can’t really imagine your parents or grandparents being particularly happy with that dress either.

I can’t… I just can’t…
OP , I think you can do better

I’m not the type to get embarassed easily and I do my own thing, but I would be embarassed in that dress on my wedding day.

Hmmm….I would vote no, it’s a little too risky for my taste but I guess it depends on what kind of wedding your having.

That would be awesome on the Victoria Secret runway. You do care what other people think because you posted it.

not for a wedding. this looks more like lingerie. Sorry not a fan

It’s your wedding, wear what you want. That being said, when you look back in 10 years will you still love the dress or wish yiu wore something else?

I agree, looks like lingerie, not a wedding dress.

Looks like lingerie crossed with a bed sheet crossed with batwings. Sorry OP 🙁

It’s unique in it’s own right but I don’t think it’s the best fit for a wedding. I can understand wanting to look great for your Fiance but there are going to be a lot of guests at the wedding who will be looking who aren’t your Fiance. Might be kind of awkward.

Ooh I got ripped to shreds here!
Thanks for all the help guys, I’m in the early stages of looking at dresses so this does really help me in the long run 🙂 xx

It looks like nightgown and robe. Would you be lining it? I think if it were lined, the dress would be okay. I still wouldn’t wear the robe thing. It definitely helps give it a nightgown feel.
