I haven’t seen the other dress, but if you want me to be brutally honest, I think the dress looks a little dated.  It reminds me of Kenneth Pool or Reem Acra circa 2007.

I have to see the other dress now!  I doubt you need back up!!!

That is a beautiful dress.  However, don’t worry about what other people think.  You gotta love your dress and would look great in a winter wedding.

I actually like it. I think it’s perfect for a winter wedding.

For a very formal wedding I think the dress is ok. I dont like those fur things though around the neck and wrists. Can you post a pic of your first dress?

I found pictures of the first dress.  I think the first dress is far more unique and interesting.

Add a survey!

I think it’s okay… 7/10. I like the beading, but it doesn’t remind me of winter much. I guess you would need to add a shawl or something. I also don’t like the cuffs.

If it’s what you love, I’m sure you’ll look gorgous and happy in it. 🙂

I actually quite like it as well.  I wouldn’t worry about being too dated – if you love it then you will glow!

No way will guests notice it’s dated.  I don’t think it’s dated at all and I’m a bride.  I think the cut is timeless and it would be great for a winter wedding!

I think its beauiful. I dont like dropped waist dresses on me but they do look good on others.
Also i dont think a dress from 2007 counts as “old” or “dated” IMO its gotta be atleast 10 years old to be “old”

Do you hate your first dress?

Words that come to mind with the first dress you bought (the 2nd dress pictured here): etherial, romanitic, feminine

Words that come to mind when I look at this other dress: traditional, structured, ornate

One of these dresses must fit the overall “vision” you’ve had for the wedding, right?  Perhaps you need to think of that vision and go with the dress that feels right.

I doubt your guests read wedding blogs and magazines like we do.  They won’t have any opinion other than that you look great. 🙂

I think it’s beautiful! I really don’t see it as dated at all…and I look at wedding stuff a lot, and your guests probably aren’t.
