i’m petite and have yet to find sleeves that don’t fall over my hands, so I don’t do it on purpose ever, i wonder if thats part of it? I also have arthritus and find that it covers some of my puffy places, so it looks more flattering :p but I realize thats not the case with everyone

immoralbeloved:  funny you asked that, I’ve wondered myself. I would do it because I have 59 year old hard working ugly hands.  I might put gloves on when I’m engaged and put the ring on top. Lmfao

immoralbeloved:  I see it all the time. It’s to hide their hands. For some reason they don’t like them.

I’ve had a couple of shots with my previous e-ring but none with my new one lol.

I know that my sleeves were long and it was just the way they were positioned when I took the pics.

minniegrace:  So true! Though I think you meant the northern hemisphere. It is actually summer in most of South America (which is in the western hemisphere) and anywhere else in the world south of the equator.

minniegrace:  That is totally something I would do. I am in a field where I read and edit a lot of scientific and technical reports, and in turn my own reports are peer-reviewed and edited. I wrote the response to your comment as an automatic reaction from work. After I wrote it I thought, “What am I doing, I am not at work and it is off topic.” I went to delete the response and I ended up pressing the wrong button and it posted anyway. Sorry!

I would do it because my hands look like they belong to a 90 year old alligator, and that’s on a good day!

Hodgy527:  I forgot to mention in my previous post that although this color looks great the first couple of days, it ends up turning this ugly tan color. At first I thought that maybe the bottle my tech used was old, but I ended up finding tons of bad reviews from people who said the same thing happened within a week. So don’t waste your money on this gel polish. Here’s a picture of the color it ended up..

Ooh, I can relate

That’s because my sleeves are too long. Simple as that.

I know this thread is a few weeks old and seems to have run its course, but I just have to.

njkb:  “Ask them” — ummmm isn’t that what she’s doing, kind of the entire point of the thread? Is this supposed to be a sassy reply?
