    Ms. MyLast

I do correct people when they call me Mrs. HisLast….because that’s his mother.

Ditto oracle! Mrs. MyLastname but I don’t mind if they throw his lastname around. But fortunately, they don’t refer to ppl as Mr. and Mrs. here in Sweden. It’s practically all by first name basis, even formal documents when whole names are used (without the Mr. and Ms. or Mrs.)

@Professor: haha, i totally agree. i’ve threatened to forward any mail addressed to “Mrs. HisLastName” to his mom back home.  Although I do get a kick out of the mail we’ve been receiving with “HisFirstName and MyFirstName HisLastName – MyLastName”.  I guess some people think everyone hyphenates now.

I think I’d rather just be called by my first name 😉

(I’m not changing my name and I couldn’t care less what others want to call me.  Seriously, just first name is cool).

I have always gone by Ms. and that won’t change. Men’s titles don’t change based on their marital status so why should mine?
