So I posted a while ago that my Darling Husband was deciding between two jobs; his brothers and a casino. He went with the casino but still is interested in his brothers when the business takes off. He is making GOOD money with the casino ($1400) a month which is pretty big for us. The only sucky part about the casino job is working odd hours and not knowing his schedule until the day before. Kinda hard to plan babysitters when it’s an “on call” job. Not complaining though because the money is really helping us.
Anyways, his brother really wants him to work for him and I told his brother that in order for Darling Husband to transfer jobs he needs to make $1200-$1400 a month. Brother-In-Law told me that that wasn’t going to happen right away. I said no problem he will stay with the casino and work part time with you then. Deal.
Now, Brother-In-Law is coming and saying that it’s starting to get busy and he needs him whenever he calls. I asked him if he would be making the minimum we said and he said no. I told him that our family can’t afford Darling Husband only making $600 a month. We have a car payment now, gas, credit card bill, and baby things we need to buy. He said that I need to start handing out business cards then and getting customers if I want Darling Husband to be making that kind of money. WTF? At this point I’m starting to get heated.
So then yesterday (because we only have ONE car) I took the car to work. Brother-In-Law called Darling Husband and told him he needed him to work. Well great, I took the car because we didn’t know he needed him. Thanks for the heads up. Darling Husband told him that I took the car because it was his day off from the casino. BIL’s response “Why the F**K do you even have a car if she takes it to work and your stuck at home on your day off? You should just man up and go get yourself a truck.” Oh great idea Brother-In-Law, how bout you shit out the money we need for a down payment and monthly payments and we would be GLAD to go get that vehicle. Now I’m heated.
I seriously am not answering BIL’s calls anymore. I’m over it.
