We are planning on doing a honeymoon registry. We are fortunate because my future-in-laws gifted our flight and hotel for Maui, but we would still like to keep costs down for activities (hello snorkeling!).
If you have experience with a honeymoon registry website, I’m interested in if you recommend it and why. Right now, it looks like Honeyfund and Honeymoon wishes are the most popular, but I am open to something else. Thanks!

We used Honeyfund.com, and loved it! They don’t take any money out, and our guests found their way around it just fine. Worked out perfectly. We ended up getting around 3/4 of our gifts from that site.

I highly recommend Honeymoon Wishes! Their site has professional photos, templates, a place to share photos, blog and share details of the event or how you met. You can download cards to print or email to notify people of your registry. What u think is important is customer service. Those that don’t want to pay by cc can call or fax. You don’t have to collect like the JOU format if honeyfund.
Also, friends and family don’t see add when they visit you site! I think its worth the fee! It’s less than sales tax….

i am using honeymoon wishes and recommend it because it is very user friendly and all the features that Jenpandas described. Also, i don;t know about honeyfund, but honeymoon wishes also has the option for guests to call their number toll free if they are not good at navigating the website or just prefer to make their purchase over the phone.

I used honeyfund and we got a lot of folks who complimented us on the site. We did pay the $25 upgrade fee to personalize it which I think helped people “trust” it.

We used Honeyfund and really liked it. It was easy to use and guests didnt seem to have any trouble. We also upgraded to personalize it. 🙂
