heyitsnicolelee:  We went on an Alaskan cruise – and got married while at port! It was a blast and we would totally do it all over again if we could.

heyitsnicolelee:  We were between St. Lucia and Disney World and we ultimately decided to go to Disney World. Mostly because our son would be with my mom and if needed, we could leave any time in order to get back and I’ve always wanted to go back NOT during Christmas. We are staying on a Disney resort for a week and have the 6 day park admission with park hopper option. We went ahead and did the dining plan so we didn’t have to worry about the extra money when we came down. A lot of people don’t find use in the dining plan, but this allows us to try different (and pricier) options that we wouldn’t normally get. We have already booked all of ADR’s and the dining plan also works for Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Diseny) so you aren’t just limited to resorts and parks. Fiance also booked for us to do a Desserts Around the World meal at Epcot (with fireworks to immediately follow!), a luau and we’re going to La Nouba (cirque show). Disney sounds hectic and isn’t for everyone, but I’m so excited to constantly be experiencing these things together.

ETA: We are spending just under $4,000. This includes the resort stay for the week, park admissions and dining plan. Disney resorts have the perk of the Magic Bands in which you can set all your FastPass times before you even go down. It’s hard to plan logistics, but we already know what we’re doing every day!

lseabrook1210: I went to St Lucia last year and stayed at the Sandals Halcyon. I highly recommend it! You’re allowed to go to the two other Sandals resorts while you’re there. I thought the Sandals Grande had the most beautiful beach, but it was much more crowded. Halcyon’s beach was also beautiful and had a much more romantic vibe.

We’re staying at the Sandals Emerald Bay in the Bahamas, in a beachfront walkout room with a butler. We can’t wait!

We went to Maui for a week, it was freakin bliss. We didn’t have time to get passports and we actually weren’t planning on a honeymoon, but his parents surprised us.

We went to Key West with a quick stop in Miami Beach.  We originally wanted to go to Hawaii but then we bought a house so our Honeymoon budget took a major hit.

The Dominican! We love it there, and will honestly just want to lie down and bum around after all the action of a wedding!

We’re saving a more exploring and adventurous trip for an anniversary in the future!

We went on a 10 day Caribbean cruise and it was amazing! We were so busy doing excursions and exploring our ports of call during the day, and then in the evening there was always something to do and the food was amazing (it was the Royal Princess). I felt like I gained 10 pounds haha. Plus plenty of time to relax at the pool with a pina colada. Cruising’s not for everyone, there were a lot of old people but we didn’t mind that. We loved all of our ports and enjoyed every minute. Seriously, I can’t say enough good things about the cruise line and our itinerary. And since it was our honeymoon Princess gave us a free dinner at a specialty restaurant and our parents gave us onboard credit for our early xmas gift so we could drink without worrying about our tab costs. I can’t wait for our next vacation!

kyliejordan16:  New Zealand is beautiful. Where are you thinking about going.. Do you like hiking and extreme sports? If so you should go to queenstown for a little thrill seeking and then go for a 3 day hike over the Routeburn track. The Tongariro crossing/Northern circuit is really cool too though and you can climb Mt Doom!
