I have been to Rome, Venice and Vienna, haven’t got the chance to see Switzerland though.

If you love history, Rome is a MUST!! I can easlier spend 1 week there, but 3 to 4 days would suffice. Colosseum, Galleria Borghese, Vatican City. I recommend getting the RomaPass, it will give you access to most of the landmarks.

Also, I loved Vienna, I was only there for 2 days but wish I had more time. The museums, the music history, the palaces (i.e. Schönbrunn Palace, Hofburg Palace), omg!! not to mention it got some beautiful grounds to visit outdoors as well! I can’t wait to go back again

I am not a big fan of Venice, I was there for 1 day only, and thought I saw enough of it… the Gondolas are supposedly romantic, maybe I was just not feeling it… to me there wasn’t much to see other than the canals and the Gondolas.. but that’s just me..

Hi! My husband and I just did rome, Venice and Paris for our honeymoon. It was about 13 days we flew from city to city and stayed at airbnb apartments which was great because our apartment in Rome was 2 blocks away from the collosieum and was a short Uber to the Vatican. I think 3 cities are doable. The food was amazing! Hope you have a wonderful time!

I used to live in Vienna. It’s one of the most awesome places in the whole world. Feel free to PM me for tips on where to eat, what to see, etc πŸ™‚

So much fun but I wouldn’t want less than 4 days in Rome

So I missed a bunch of the questions- I think Rome is best when you have ample time to see/do. It’s overwhelming and many people don’t like it if they are overwhelmed/rushed. Also it is very important NOT TO STAY IN HOTEL BY THE TRAIN STATION. So many hotels and that area is kinda yucky, I’ve noticed people who stay there don’t like Rome! Try to stay Piazza Navona or anywhere in the centro storico, close to the river is good. I personally recommend 5 days/nights in Rome.

Venice is small and 2 nights is fine. You start to feel like mouse in a maze repeating your same steps after a while, would think 2 full days/nights ok. Stay in the dorsoduro district which has a “real” feel instead of a toruist trap feel. You can walk from dorsoduro to the main square in 10 minutes, so it’s still convenient but it a thousand percent less toruist trap. I like La Calcina. Yes, you have to see venice once in your life and honeymoon is the perfect time. Spring for the gondola ride and have apertivo on one of the expensive square cafes with live music (opera/classical). If you love art the Guggenheim museum is a hidden treasure.

Vienna as I mentioned has a more relaxed feel for a european capital with lots of romantic options.
