My honey and I are getting married in the Colorado mountains this October and decided to do a mini-roadtrip to New Mexico for a relaxing honeymoon right after the wedding. We’ll be staying two nights each at:
Ten Thousand Waves + Houses of the Moon https://tenthousandwaves.com
We are in love with Japanese onsen culture and love hot springs in general, and I am so excited to go here! I’ve been to Santa Fe many times but never here. Sushi, hot springs, massage and relaxation, yes please!
Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm https://lospoblanos.com
This is just the dreamiest place ever, with lavender fields and peacocks roaming the gardens. We will also take a hot air balloon ride while we are here and have dinner at the chef’s table both nights for meals with wine pairings.
Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa https://ojocaliente.ojospa.com
This place has been on my bucket list for ages. From the website, “As one of the oldest natural health resorts in the U.S., Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa opened its doors in 1868. The waters at Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs have been deemed sacred by the 8 Northern Pueblo tribal communities for nearly 3,000 years. Pueblo ruins rest just above the property. Steeped in myth and legend, these ancient springs have been a gathering place and source of healing for thousands of years. The use of the waters can be traced back to the earliest human migrations in the region.” SO EXCITED!!
Where are you headed after you get married?
