I stayed at the Arenal Nayara!  I think dinner at the hotel was usually like $60 with drinks.  It’s not a cheap resort.  There is a wine bar there too…same deal; appetizers maybe like $8, a glass was around the same maybe even more.

The hot springs we went to were $45 a person (Tobacon)?  And zip-lining was $100?  We also hiked to the Arenal Waterfall which is gorgeous and like $5 pp. The zip line in Arenal is supposedly the longest in the world.  It was amazing.  You have the volcano on one side and a huge lake on the other.

I HIGHLY recommend it!  We had a car which helped to get to the nearest town and the hot springs but most of the tour companies like for zip-lining take you there and back.  If you call the hotel, they are really helpful.

PM me if you’d like any more info.

By The Way – we only used the jacuzzi once…it was cool to have, but there are mosquitos outside and it’s pretty hot…

I vote for the all inclusive package!!! It will be so nice to not have to worry about what to order, or if you can afford to get dessert.  With all inclusive they will bring you drinks as you lay out on the beach!! Both places offer beautiful beaches, so I vote for the all inclusive!
