Yes, but I just spend so much $ on the wedding photographer

We were actually gifted this for our wedding shower, which was amazing.  My future SIL gifted us a photography package in the European city of our choice since we’re doing a bit of a European tour for our honeymoon.  We’re really excited about it.

Go for it! You’ll be in a beautiful and exotic location, and probably in great shape from all the wedding prep 🙂  sounds like a great opportunity to get some amazing pics!

The resort we stayed at in Maui included professional photos. We only got two photos with the option to purchase more, but after all the engagement and wedding photos we really didnt want anymore. Neither of us actually like getting our prictures taken and we just wanted to enjoy our honeymoon.

futuremrsden :  Yes, it is definitley possible to add a Honeymoon Photographer, you should check with the Resort you will be staying at for your Honeymoon, they may in fact offer a “Honeymoon Package” that includes a romantic setting for dinner and a Couples Massage, options will vary from resort to resort.  Sometimes it is Champagne and Strawberries and a photo-op somewhere on the resort. Hope this helps!

Yes totally agree with what the others said, you can ask your resort or guest house to book you a nice photograper to capture your amazing moments!

My first thought is this is another way to squeeze money out if people.  Lol.  Personally, it wouldn’t be my thing but I can understand the appeal.

I honestly think I’ll be so over professional photos by the time my honeymoon comes. Not to say I don’t want nice photos from our trip, but to go through more posing and canoodling just sounds like a waste of time to me personally. I think for many people it would be very appealing though and youd get some really great shots no doubt!

I can see the appeal, but after being all dolled up for the wedding and events leading up to it, I enjoyed completely winding down and not feeling like I had to dress up for anything or be “on” if that makes sense. I don’t particular enjoy taking pictures, so it isn’t something I would want to do when I’m supposed to be relaxing.

I was looking at a resort in the Poconos (one of those really cheesy couples resorts) and they offered a photography package and I thought it was a bit odd and didn’t know it was a thing. I didn’t end up going there and instead opted for Ravenwood Castle at Hocking Hills which didn’t include one, but I rather not personally because my fiance hates posing for pictures and he would be totally done after the engagement and wedding photos. I already had to pull out teeth to get him to do engagement photos this summer.
