(Closed) Honeymoon Cruise

We went on a cruise for our honeymoon and it was very nice.  I will tell you we didn’t feel overwhelmed by people.  I am not really into huge group activities or croweds either.  Most ships have enough options and places to go that you can be alone if you want or with people if you want.  As far as meals cruise lines now have several options besides the formal dinning room.  We ate at our scheduled time a couple of nights and we went through the buffet several nights it just depended on how we felt. There are a lot of positives and negatives but it worked for us.  I was so tired after the wedding it was just nice to know that we had a place to stay and eat whenever we wanted and plenty of options off the boat that were taken care of for us.  I personally didn’t want to have to plan anything else!

Our first vacation together was a weekend cruise so when it came time to decide on a honeymoon, we immediately suggested going on a longer cruise. We are doing a week cruise to Cozumel, Grand Caymen, Belize, and Honduras. We did pay more for a balcony and I feel like this will be enough privacy for us. We enjoyed hanging out with the other guests on the ships and going to dinner (where they sat us with young people). We ended up partying with them later! =) When we got to the cruise ports though we did activities with just each other. We found the beaches to be very romantic and quite private if you’re willing to explore. Good luck!
