Is that hotel near the port and/or the barcadi rum distillery? Can you tell me your likes and dislikes of the hotel? Thanks!

@mrsbride2b:   Our resort was in Rio Grande, which is more into the residential area.  We stayed there because my family lives 10min away from there.  It’s not really much to do in that area but go to the rainforest, which is a must do.  There is also the Westin Rio Mar which is close by, they have a casino.  Our resort was sort of in the cut, but a lot of golfers go there.  But the resort was beautiful.  The room was huge, flat screen tv, couch, and table.  The bathroom had the jacuzzi tub.  The resort has a small casino.  The pool has a swim up bar.  Again, the resort is nice but far from where all the tourist are staying.  Since you haven’t been before, it’s best to stay in the tourist area which is by the airport.  But make sure you go to the rainforest (El Yunque).  There is also some horseback riding by the rainforest that was nice and reasonable.  You will like it out there.
