- Wedding: May 2021 - Walt Disney World
Fiance and I have ample time on our hands these days and decided we should start researching honeymoon destinations. Wedding is set for spring next year so we’re not concerned about travel restrictions at this point.
Our 3 main criteria for a honeymoon resort:
-White Sand/Warm Water
-ADULTS ONLY (this is the biggest one, we live kids, but not on our honeymoon)
So where did you go/stay on your honeymoon? Did you like it? Pro and cons? Would you go back? Let me know!

Well… I haven’t stayed there but I have seen some all inclusive resorts in Cancun advertising $499 for a couple for 5 nights and 6 days and you can book up to 24 months in advance with no change fees and no cancel fees, not sure which resorts are adult only… but I totally feel you on that!
For our honeymoon, we went to Clearwater Beach FL, definately white sand and warm and GORGEOUS, we rented a condo on the beach so it wasn’t a resort!

we went to Penang in Malaysia a few years ago.
we stayed at this wonderful hotel called the Rasa Sayang. We paid extra to stay in the adults only Rasa Wing. It’s not all inclusive but you get breakfast, afternoon tea and pre dinner drinks and snacks included. Tbh we didn’t need that much else. We went out for dinner anyway as we LOVE Malaysian food.
the Rasa wing also has its own adults only pool where you get soft drinks and fruit kebabs twice a day along with a cold flannel.
honestly best holiday we’ve had in years

We are going to Sandals Grenada for our honeymoon…just not sure when. We were supposed to get married on May 30th but had to postpone until July and the room we want at sandals isnt available right after our wedding so we are thinking of doing something smaller in July and then going to sandals in the winter.
We went to Aruba a few years ago and stayed at the Riu. It was by far the best all inclusive ive ever been to. They had an adults only resort (next door to the family friendly resort). The food was AMAZING, they literally had any food you could think of every night at the buffet, and the beach was miles long with white sand, blue water and sunny skies every day. The only reason we arent going there for our honeymoon is because we wanted to go somewhere we havent been, but we will definitely go back there again soon!
