We are booked to go to Sandals Whitehouse but we are contemplating whether we should switch to Couples Swept Away.

We’re debating between taking a cruise, or heading to St Lucia or Jamaica.  Either way, we’ll be looking forward to the break!

@bumblepup:  St.Lucia was our number two choice. It’s a tough call.

Ideally we want to do a week in Hawaii and then a week in Tahiti or Fiji…but I have to do my research to see if we can make it work! I was also considering Anguilla but I think we want to go somewhere a bit more exotic.

We’re going to NYC for a week, my parents have a timeshare and were able to book us a room at the Manhattan Club.  I’ve always wanted to go to NYC, I’m super excited!!

After much research and discussion, we decided on Sandals Grande Riviera in Ocho Rios, Jamaica! πŸ™‚ Our first choice was St. Lucia or Antigua, but after looking at the flights we decided against it.. Someday we will visit there though.

@FutureMrs.-G:  we are going on the same cruise! I will post photos when we get back. We have cruised Carnival before and loved it. We opted to book a suite so that we can have some privacy if we want it. Also… we are staying in Puerto Rico for three days after the cruise so we can experience that a bit too! We are so excited! I think it’s going to be great πŸ™‚

We are going to Aruba! I have been to a few Carribean islands but never to Aruba and have heard great things about the atmosphere and weather. Aruba was also our #1 choice due to the fact that it is not in the hurricane belt. October is during hurricane season so alot of the carribean islands tend to get hit with bad weather at that time of year.

We booked ours two weeks ago! We are spending 8 nights in the Maldives at the Waldorf Astoria water villa πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

http://waldorfastoriamaldives.com/

let’s just say it wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for my maid of honor.. her wedding gift to us is very generous!!!!! she’s covering the cost for the stay in the villa…

all we will spend money on is the flights (which we booked) and spending money – flights were ridiculously overpriced.. and I’m not millionaire.  I’m really excited for this!!!!

Roadtripping from Ohio to Alaska! We’re both too pasty and indoorsy for islands or cruises B-) Should be fun though, we roadtripped through Canada and New England a few years ago and had a blast.

We’re waiting until January’s to go on honeymoon, and depending on finances we are hoping for 7 days in barbados followed by a 7 day cruise around the caribbean, if not we’ll do an all inclusive to turkey later on in the year

New Orleans, which has beautiful weather in the fall. My fiance’s not much of a beach guy, so we wanted some place warm with a lot of culture where neither of us had been before. We also love jazz, and New Orleans is definitely the place to go for that.

We also considered Fiji and Italy if we were going to go international (maybe next year when our wallets aren’t hurting from throwing a wedding), St. Thomas for a more secluded beach place, and Niagara Falls, which we deemed too cold in October.

Alaska is also an amazing place for anyone having a summer wedding…whale watching, hiking, beautiful landscapes, midnight sun, the ocean…I’m definitely going back again in the next couple years.

@mags2233: I didn’t see your post before I hit “Submit,” but that honeymoon is amazing! I’m definitely going there for our fifth anniversary. It’s not too soon to plan ahead, is it?
