If you can postpone your honeymoon until early-mid November, that should most likely keep you out of the woods for hurricane season, although I would recommend you consider purchasing insurance (we didn’t but it was a vacation not a honeymoon).  We went on a cruise Nov. 14th and it was beautiful and there were no problems.  September is just the month you want to avoid.

I’m not sure about the hurricane seasons but we are going with the Dreams resorts. They have some in Mexico and the Carribean. It includes everything (even alcohol). I know they have one that has a dolphin experience, and they were a really reasonable compared to other all inclusives. I have been stalking the reviews on Trip Advisor and on average they have been really good.

August and September are definitely hurricane "danger zones."  While you may luck out and have a quiet and calm 2009 hurricane season, you could also end up with something like Katrina.  Eek.

We are huge fans of the Sandals line.  Not everyone loves them, but they are all inclusive.
