@tropical_sunshine:  I’ve done both, multiple times.  What do you want to know?

Both are great.  Just two different types of trip.  One is more adventure and sight seeing.  The other is more relaxing and beaches.

Sounds like three great places. It depends on a few things – budget, time of year, what you and Fiance are interested in. Like the PP said, they are all great just very very different.

Fiance and I are having the same dilemma. Our thoughts:

Hawaii=the best. I’ve been going there since I was 2. Maui is particularly the best island. My parents honeymooned there in Wailea. It’s wildly expensive and oh so fabulous.

Europe tour=much more high stress than Hawaii, simply because if you’re going to a bunch of countries in which you don’t speak the native language, it’s going to be harder. I lived in France for a while and despite what people think, a lot of French people don’t know English! You’ll also probably be switching hotels and moving around a lot, which is why Fiance and I are more inclined to go to Maui at this point.

That said, the best places in Europe= Barcelona, Grasse, Dublin, Paris, Florence, and Zagreb. 😀

Europe is appealing because there’s so much to do and so many different places to do it in. But Hawaii is SO gorgeous and relaxing and wonderful. It’s hard to choose!
