We’re planning on going to Iceland, so I don’t think London or Paris is odd at all!

Well if you’re looking for something as relaxing as St Lucia but exotic as London, Greece and Barcelona are good options. What’s your budget?

What does your Fiance think of going to London or Paris? I don’t see any reason not to go there… or go to both cities!

Travel is very important to my fiancé and I, so we set out to have an epic honeymoon. How often do you have a good excuse to take an awesome vacation? So we’re doing the biggest trip I could think of. Eventually we’ll have a kid and things will be more complicated. So I say go while you can and pick somewhere that really excites you!

Darling Husband and I just honeymooned in Costa Rica. We LOVED it. We definitely didn’t want a resort style honeymoon, and we didn’t have one. We stayed at Oxygen Jungle Villas in the mountains of the rainforest. It was amazing to wake up and see toucans in the trees. We rented a 4×4 and drove around during the day. We were spontaneous and every day we tried something new.

I think paris is one of the most romantic places on earth and perfect for a honeymoon, why would it not be?

We were in a similar dilemma, we have been to all the islands tons of times but never to Europe. So if we are going to spend money on a trip shouldn’t we do something new. My parents brought up a good point though, your honeymoon is supposed to be relaxing. If we went to Europe it would be just go, go, go or else I would feel like I was missing things. So we ended up choosing Hawaii (we’ve never been) and I’m happy with that decision. But Europe is coming next!

We’re going to Australia and New Zealand, so we can accomplish some of our bucket-list items like scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef. Have you thought about traveling there?

You should talk with your Fiance about what you two would like to do on a honeymoon – do you enjoy spending lots of time on the beach, being low-key, or would you prefer to explore some big cities? Or do you want to go somewhere with a mix of both? Or are you outdoorsy and wanting to do hiking and camping? If you want to see cities with museums, history, people watching, famous food, etc. then you are definitely on the right track to go to Europe – I know lots of people who have honeymooned there are loved it. But if you spend your whole honeymoon in large cities and you would rather have some time to decompress on a beach, you might not be satisfied with just going to London and Paris. One option would be to go to Paris and then take the train to Southern France, where there are beautiful, romantic beaches and fun towns like Cannnes and Monaco.
