So I am the world’s WORST decision maker. I can barely make up my mind about what to eat in a restaurant let alone where to take the biggest vacation of our lives so far 🙂
Fiance and I just in the very beginning stages of deciding where to honeymoon and the two things we have in mind are either an adventurous trip to Costa Rica to zipline, hike waterfalls, go in the hot springs, white water rafting, etc.
The other option/idea floating around is an all inclusive. I particularly like the look/feel of St. Lucia but don’t know what all inclusive would be best or if we’d get bored too easily (we love laying on the beach and sipping drinks but couldn’t do that every day for a week).
So I’d love to hear from any bees who have been to either CR or St. Lucia (or the Carribbean at all) or both or all and see what you liked/didn’t like/would suggest. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated!

We are going to Costa Rica for 10 days for our postponed honeymoon. We are doing both adventure and relaxing on the beach. Staying at 3 different areas of the country(4 if you count San Jose). We leave in 2 weeks and I cannot wait! I think your money will go further in Costa Rica.

@sparklerunner: We are doing A bit of both with a cruise. We have two days of relaxing and lounging, along with tons of fun zip lining, kayaking, snorkeling, horse riding, cave tubing and riding ATVs.I think am all inclusive would be nice but would get boring, unless they had some fun activities available.

I’ve been to St. Lucia on a cruise, but it made a really good impression on us. We’d like to go back. It’s a small island, but there is a lot to do there. We managed to go inside the volcano, visit a few gardens, see the pitons, and have dinner, before heading back to the boat.
