There are plenty of places to see. If you’re looking for a tropical getaway what about a cruise somewhere. What about Canada? September is a great time to come here with the seasons starting to change. It will still be warm. There are plenty of places to go Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Vancouver, PEI, Calgary. The options are endless depending on what kind of honey moon you’re after…or even better why don’t you stay in the US…if youlive on the east coast go to the west or vice versa. THis is a great way to "stimulate" the economy…travelling locally on continentally!

Hello Date Twin!

Sept 12th here also, and same issue!!  We actually brainstormed last night and came up with New Hampshire, Martha’s Vineyard, Bermuda (not too far down there, is it?), Niagra Falls, any northern cruise (Novia Scotia, etc.)

Let me know what you come up with!

Have you looked into South America?  It’s super cheap and mostly unaffected by hurricanes (except for parts of the northern and north eastern coasts).  Also, Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao aren’t in the hurricane belt.

What about Baja/Riviera Maya?

You mentioned Europe being expensive and it sure is if you’re only looking at Western Europe. Croatia has awesome beaches. And then there’s places like Thailand where the airfare is expensive but everything else isn’t. Most places in the world are actually pretty cheap, it’s just getting there!

Basically there’s a lot of options to avoid hurricane season, worry not!

Disney is DEAD in September…all the kids are back in school (I know this for a fact as I used to work in the parks)…the rest of FL is pretty low key that time as well.  While hurricanes are still an issue, it would be inexpensive and tourist free.
