In Hawaii, our hotel offred a package, where a photographer would shoot you during sunset around the resort, on the beach, etc, and then gave you an opportunity to buy prints.  It wasn’t cheap, but he was really good and a lot of people were doing it.

I think that is a really awesome idea!! Maybe not to follow you around but maybe just for a few hours? You would get some really great shots!

The resort we’re going to in Mexico has a photographer on site that does this. I’ve seen some of their work and it’s actually really good and so we’re definitely going to take advantage of that ๐Ÿ™‚ We never end up with many good photos of us together while we’re on vacation so this will solve that problem!

It sounds like a good idea.  I doubt i’d be able to afford it though so we will be carrying a gorilla tripod around.  It’s small enough to fit in a purse and it can wrap around trees, poles, whatever works.

The gorilla tripod is a fantastic idea. My husband and I don’t have one photo of us together on our honeymoon, this would have been amazing!

Oh wow those honeymoon photo from Iceland are amazing.  I am so jealous!  I wish I could do something like that.  Did that couple travel with their wedding dress and tux?  I wonder how often people do that.

The bride brought her dress and the groom brought a suit and few different shirts and ties with him.

They trekked everywhere in their wedding gear, it was so much fun.

The couple who went to iceland had a 10 day honeymoon where Ryan and I traveled with them for only part of it. We planned out 5 days of shoots and locations and met them there for those shoots.

The Paris honeymoon couple did 7 days and we were with them for 3 days of shooting all around Paris. We did a day and night shoot in the city as well as a 3rd day in versailles.

Both couples did a mix of photos in wedding outfits and in regular casual clothes. They also both ended up getting huge wedding albums of all the adventures they went on together as well as little mini traveler albums (album duplicates that can fit in your purse).

More couples should have professional photography done on their honeymoon, especially if they are planning an adventure! and leave the gorilla pod at home lol:)
