Has anyone done a honeymoon registry?
We have a house full of everything already and do not need the items that most registries entail.
I set something up on Honeyfund.com and plan to do a small registry at BBB and Target for the less computer savvy folks but I was wondering i anyone else had any experience with a honeymoon registry?
And this may possible be the dumbest question ever, but do we put the registry info in the wedding invites? The bridal party invites? do we write it right in the invite or slip paper in there? How does this registry stuff work?????

We’re doing a honeymoon registry also…for the same reasons! We are using Honeymoonwishes.com. According to etiquette, you aren’t supposed to list the registry info on the Save-The-Date Cards or the invites. If you have a wedding website, certainly post it there and you can list the website on the Save-The-Date Cards and invites. Otherwise, for those who aren’t computer savvy, the registries should be communicated by word of mouth…so be sure that your families and bridal party know. That way if they are asked by any guests, they can relay the info without burdening you with tons of questions!

We have a honeymoon registry, but also a couple of traditional registries for those who don’t like the idea of the honeymoon registry. It’s true you cannot put your registry info on your Save-The-Date Cards or invites. I believe if your host sends out your shower invites for you, she can decide to add the registry information. You can also spread it via word of mouth, or place it on your website, which is what we did.
