@cmholmes:  NOT AT ALL!!! I would be so upset!  You have every right.  I am shocked he would even ask such a dumb question? I would tell him straight that you don’t want anyone else but you two.  Hopefully he “understands” even though he shouldn’t ask in the first place.  But since that damage is done.  I would just tell him and hope for the best. :/

@cmholmes:  That is understandable but again it is “your” honeymoon not your honeymoon +2.  I really hope it goes well when you talk to him!

You don’t have to share your honeymoon with anyone if you don’t want to ๐Ÿ™‚ We spent ours in a 3 bedroom house too and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else using those extra bedrooms. Tell your Fiance you have the rest of your lives to take holidays with friends and while his heart is in the right place, you want your honeymoon just for the two of you. Good luck!

Ahhhhhh!!!!!!  I hope this works out!  Your honeymoon is time for you and your honey.  Sounds like he is trying to be nice to his friend, but it’s not a couples vacation, it’s a honeymoon.  Good luck!

Shame on your Fiance for making you the bad guy. You should tell him not to do that in the future.

Don’t be afraid to tell these people NO. Honeymoon should be 100% about the couple, that’s what makes it different and special compared to other vacations.

If it would only have been for two days, I just would have toughed it out.  BUT since she doesn’t want to go anyway, it works out perfectly you, especially since you don’t have to be the “bad guy” that way!

Personally, I would have absolutely said no. It doesn’t matter who they are – it could’ve been my best friend, but I would’ve said no because I want my time with just him and no one else for that time. Not only that, but it sounds like his buddy was trying to freeload on you guys :/

OMG, I would say hell to the no on that one.  No, you are not being unreasonable at all.  It is your HONEYMOON, for heaven’s sake.  Men sometimes, sheesh!!!  Btw, we are Wedding Date Twins!!
