Hello Bees!
Now that all the big wedding stuff is dealt with, we’re on to thinking honeymoon. We’ll be heading to Turkey in Aug/September – so I’m thinking maxi dresses, linen clothes, etc.
Now, I’m a bit of a roadwarrior for work (70, 80% of the time), but it’s a different kind of wardrobe that I have down to a T. I tend to pack like this for leisure travel too – but I’m hoping to make it cute for the Honeymoon.
Anybody have any good tips on places to buy maxi dresses, resort wear, comfortable sandals? Any specific tips on what did you forget to bring? What did you use the most?

we went to italy in october. i mostly shop at norstrom, loft, and anthropolgie, so that is where all my clothes came from.
i mostly wore slacks and 3/4 length shirts. and sweaters in the evenings.
i packed pretty well. i wore everything i brought. i opted for sneakers to walk all day and boots for the evening. i brought 2 pair boots, 1 pair flats, and the sneakers i wore. i’m glad i opted for comfort instead of fashion in my footwear.

@havfrue:
I personally like shopping at H&M (for cheaper dresses/shirts on sale), UNIQLO (for basics like leggings) and American Eagle (for pants! Finally, I found jeans that fit me…lol).
I would back things that you can combine to wear (e.g. two dresses, one pants, two cardigans, one pair of heels = multiple outfits that you can coordinate). That way, you won’t have a huge luggage but a lot to wear.
Whenever I travel, I always forget to pack facial lotion and sunscreen – and I hate wearing body lotion/sunscreen on my face. 🙁
I also dedicate some luggage space for a hair dryer, because I hate hotel ones (dinky!).
