Has anyone done this?? I’ve been thinking about taking my Fiance back to where he grew up in Colorado for our honeymoon, problem is, our wedding is in December so Colorado is a little chilly then, but 2 months before it isn’t bad and it isn’t bad a couple months after either. Just wondering what everyone else thinks??

I would do after, not before, but I don’t think delaying for a couple months is weird at all.

We didn’t take our honeymoon until about 2 months after, and it was all good. I wouldn’t do it before. It seems like it would lose some of the magic.

Honestly, I don’t think it’s a honeymoon unless it’s after the wedding. Why not wait until next year? Plenty of Bees’ HMs are delayed for various reasons (work, holidays, weather, money..)

It is a vacation before hand, you are not married yet. Afterwards would be considered a honey moon you can always delay it a few months

I did a “beforeneymoon” and went on a cruise. I had 1 week between my return from the trip and the wedding.
Pro: it’s hard to stress about wedding stuff when you are lying by the pool with a margarita.
Con: When I got back from 2 weeks of cruise buffets, I discovered that I no longer fit in my dress! I didn’t get to eat a lot during the week before the wedding.
