I’ve never been, but I know lots of people who’ve gone and they love just wandering around the beach! I’ve heard it’s super cute!

@MissCT:  Hey! My family owns a cabin there so I have been there many times. Long Beach is a super cute little town, that kind of reminds me of a trip back in town. Theres stuff to do on the beach, such as horse riding and there is a rental place for all sorts of bikes and what not to scoot around town in.  In town there is a place called “Marshes Free Museum” that is super quirky and easy to spend lots of time in.  There is mini golf, a little games place, some rides, a bakery with the best fresh bread EVER and some candy shops and kite shops. There is also a tiny little movie theater that is always showing two different films. The best park of Long Beach is that it is so relaxing.  I go for a lot of walks on the beach. Its beautiful there! Let me know if you have any other questions!

@MissCT:  There really aren’t that many people that drive on the beach, a majority of the driving is when it is a day for clamming, or an emergency vehicle.  I have never smelled fumes when I was at the beach before, and you won’t be there on a holiday weekend, when it is at it’s busiest.  I bring my dog everywhere in Long Beach and as long as I was outside the restaurant no one cared.  I even picked him up and carried him in so I could pay for a kite.  Other than that, I really just enjoy being there, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and sleeping in.  Where will you be staying when you are there? I know there are some newish hotels right on the beach and then there are some more that aren’t hotels but more like motels.  One really cool thing that I enjoy is this red and white cart from the rental place that you can sit inside, but to propel it you pedal like a bike.  I would use it to go around town and look at all the cute little houses.  Most people have them decorated and its fun to just jet around town like that.

I have seen it before, but I don’t have to rent there because my family owns a house, so I don’t really know much about the hotels/motels there, but the plus is that it is right on the beach! I’m sure it will be fantastic!
