Darling Husband and I are back from our honeymoon.. It was wonderful.. Well, until the tropical storm made its way.. We left a day early (*pout*) because of tropical storm Andrea (I think is what they named it).. It chased us the whole way up the coast until we got home, and of course.. As soon as we got unloaded.. The rain stopped <,< .. It was a lovely week and we had a ton of fun in the different Museums, theme parks, water parks and zoos! I want to go back NOW! LOL!

- Wedding: November 2013 - St. Augustine Beach, FL
Next time come during late April and early May. Hurricane season starts June 1 and lasts until November 30. Most of the strong storms occur in July and August but June and September are also pretty active because the water temps are warm. November is the least active.
The weather is still warm in April, May and November but not ridiculously hot like it is during the summer months and you can avoid those tropical storms and hurricanes. Temps are still usually in the 80s so you would still be able to enjoy the beach and go home with a tan.

@beachbride1216: We tend to not be beach people… We prefer amusement parks and museums.. Our wedding was the end of May, so early June was our best possibility.. We’re ok with having come home early in the long run.. A friend of ours was in a motorcycle accident, so we got to see him rather then being bombarded with stuff to do in 1 day, we had 2 to kinda “relax” and get things done.
