I vote for the beach. After our wedding we were so exhautsed it took us like 4-5 days of doing nothing to start to recoup.

And I hate being cold so I think thats why I ruled our Colorado but I’m sure it could be beautfiul if you found the right place.

We were kinda on this debate too, go someplace pretty but a little colder or to a beachy area, even though we’d already been to a beach that year.

But finally decided that a honeymoon is time for less clothes not more.

Ever think about costa rica? its perfect for someone like you…(its where we decided to do our honeymoon) you get all the awesomeness of a tropical location but you can hike active volcanos, take a dip in the hotsprings…Zipline throught the jungle!

The bahamas are beautiful. we took a trip there for a week in march. though sept is hurrican season remember! Never been to colorado but i want to go! though if i were to take a trip there i would want snow…is it snowing there in sept? i would want to break out the snowboard for sure.

Hunting, fishing, and fourwheeling sounds more Colorado to me (just not in February, of course).

Definitely beach. We were so beat after our wedding weekend that we just wanted to sit around and do nothing!

I’m all for non-traditional honeymoons (DH and I went to Alaska) and Colorado seems to really fit your’s and your FI’s interests!  It seems like EVERYONE honeymoons to the beach – do something different that both of you love!

I’ll be honest, people seemed way more excited to hear about our Alaska honeymoon when we returned than people were about friend’s/family’s beach honeymoons.  I’d bet Colorado would be the same!
