I’m going to set up a memorial vase for my grandma…I have seen little poems that go with it too. Here is an inspiration photo but I’m only doing 1 vase
@destiny1120: Love it!
My fiances mom passed almost 4 months ago. We are dedicating a table to her with a picture of her and him, flowers and candles
Same with my fiances mom, she passed when he was 18… I need some ideas to do for her. We were thinking about leaving a chair open for his mom during the ceremony but I would like something else to do also. Any opinions?
You could attach a locket with your mom’s picture to your bouquet:
you could play her favorite song during the signing of the papers
i went to a wedding where they got everyone to let go of a helium baloon (in the person who had passed aways’ favourtie colour), it was a really positive way of remembering the person!
My grandma passed last month so I had a photo charm made on Etsy that I will attach to my bouquet in addition to the vases above.My mom doesn’t want an empty chair or anything like that (it was her mom so I’ll respect her wishes) so we are keeping it simple.
I think we will leave a chair open the one on my side..and sometime during it either i or the kids will place a flower or corsage or something on it..maybe
Balloons i couldnt do..We just did them at my godsons funeral and he was 7…it was sweet then but to re-do it might re-open pain for everyone in that family..
